is a short film describing an invasion of giant robots. What is impressive is knowing that it was carried by two men from Uruguay in six months with $ 300 budget.

I love these timelapse movies - this is better in HD of course.
I think they use this type of thing to help those with extreme memory loss as well i.e they play-back what
they have done over the day \ days to help them in treatment - anyhoo, it makes good watching IMO.

This began at the start of 2003 as an idea to make a stream of consciousness animated gif connected by keyframes and using many people independent of each other to fill in the gaps. I got such a huge response that Phase 1 ended up with over 20 people getting involved and it ended up becoming a video.
Then Phase 2 began with the last frame of Phase 1 and got even more people involved who'd seen Phase 1 and wanted to take part. After that I decided to make a new strand for Phase 3 using DVD res keyframes (720 x 576), which made everything that much better and encouraged people to use all kinds of animation, really freeing them up to do even more surprising things.
So in all there were 44 segments in Phase 3 & 4, some people ended up doing a couple to fill in when others had to drop out but it remained a case of nobody knowing what was coming before or after them untiil they saw the finished thing.
The size/length of this meant that at the time it was hard to keep hosted at full quality so most people only got to see the lesser version. Vimeo let me upload any length and it's just under the 500MB limit so it's perfect.

My good friend has been adding stuff to this site for a while, and I only looked back on it recently to find I enjoyed it greatly. I hope you will too.
Not going to click 'NSFW' - it is all pretty safe text, even if some of the original spam is of the penile advertisment variety.
edit: to give you a flavour, here's one of my favourites:
