(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:13, archived)

(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:15, archived)

#

(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:25, archived)
# Woo for bouncy skellingtons...
My mate who did physiotherapy had to get one for his studies. He saved quite a lot of money by only buying a half one, which I thought was a bit crap. If you're going to buy an actual real live dead skeleton, you may as well get the whole thing.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:03, archived)
# top half
or bottom half?
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:04, archived)
# here was me thinking
it'd be east or west half
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:05, archived)
# me too
surely just a north/south half wouldn't be much use?
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:05, archived)
# *yawn*
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:06, archived)
# haaa!
i'd never seen that one. i cackled like a witch!
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:08, archived)
# I can almost
hear him going "ahhhhhhh"
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:09, archived)
# That is utterly
superb. His face!!!.. and the finger popping out from behind the bone! Heh hee! I take my hat off.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:09, archived)
# YAY!
He reminds me of august...

mmmm...august...only 8½ months to go!!
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:10, archived)
# Ahhh haha... love that one...
the benefit of the occasional repost is that others get to see great 'missed' postage
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:23, archived)
# Heh
it made the front page again...

I fear the Monday morning backlash from the anti-repost crew...

*shudder*

Off to bed for me... if I can sleep... ;)
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:42, archived)
# oops
maybe I should remix him quickly...
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:45, archived)
# bum - I didn't realise
it'd been there already - as most people hadn't seen it i thought it hadn't been there before!
I'll see if i can un f/p it...

nope, i can't- oops!
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:51, archived)
# dont
bother.....it's very woo !!
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:58, archived)
# has he still got it?
is it in the closet?
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:04, archived)
# fancy - did he get the top or the bottom half?
How wierd would just the bottom half be?

edit - ohh! b3tan to the question.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:04, archived)
# you're implying
that just the top half wouldn't be wierd?
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:06, archived)
# Er, either left or right side I think,
rather than top or bottom. Has all the bones in it then, and no duplication...
What really intrigues me is where do they get them from? Do people bequeath them to skeleton supplies companies, or do their families decide that they'd save on burial costs by flogging what's left of their dead relative?
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:08, archived)
# i think
it's people who 'donate their bodies to medical research'.

i was sickened when i found out my med student flatmate has to cut up whole real dead bodies. yech.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:09, archived)
# my brother's doing medicine
he's got to do whole bodies. all a bit gross.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:10, archived)
# apparently they squirt
i would vomit.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:11, archived)
# surely they only squirt preserving fluid?
the blood would be clotted by then.
I can't believe you can buy east/west - I just assumed Tomsk meant North/South!
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:15, archived)
# they squirt bone juice.
and it stinks, apparently.

i would still vomit.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:16, archived)
# is bone juice
a medical term?
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:19, archived)
# Yes
It has the same meaning as "sex wee" ;)
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:21, archived)
# no it doesn't
it's a totally different type of juice.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:22, archived)
# all-together?
/airplane
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:25, archived)
# you know
i've never seen that.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:36, archived)
# yes.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:21, archived)
# The animals we dissect..
rarely squirt, but its usually the preserving fluid (formalin.. I think), but that f*ckin stinks...
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:22, archived)
# That's what I thought
when he told me. He's sold it now. I never got to see it, boo.
Right, I'm orf, nitey nite all.
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:17, archived)
# night
night
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:24, archived)
# Woo..
.. now do it with a dog skeleton ;)

(or a kitten...)
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:06, archived)
# curses -
there was me thinking it was nice to have you back ;)
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:08, archived)
# oooh
it could be "funnybones" told in pixels.

on a dark, dark night was a dark, dark hill, and on the dark, dark hill was a dark, dark town, and in the dark, dark town were dark, dark streets, and in a dark, dark street there was a dark, dark house, and in the dark, dark house there were some dark, dark stairs, and down the dark, dark stairs there was a dark, dark cellar, and in the dark, dark cellar, three skeletons lived!
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:09, archived)
# yay!
i loved funnybones :)
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:11, archived)
# i spent a free period
last week reading the school library's copy. (and it didn't take me the whole hour to read it, but that was something i did in that hour)
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:13, archived)
# but.. but...
what next?
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:12, archived)
# urrr
they go to the zoo and play with the animals. i think
(, Sun 8 Dec 2002, 22:13, archived)
# the skeleton zoo
