What really intrigues me is where do they get them from? Do people bequeath them to skeleton supplies companies, or do their families decide that they'd save on burial costs by flogging what's left of their dead relative?

i think
it's people who 'donate their bodies to medical research'.
i was sickened when i found out my med student flatmate has to cut up whole real dead bodies. yech.
