Here's a (possibly) controversial one.BMWs.
A sub-type of common really - more nouveau riche. And not completely exclusively common, I suppose.

oooohh, tricky...You're half right I suppose. The 3 Series sells more then the Ford Mondeo nowadays, and I always get cut up by some cockney wanker in a 316 in East London.
But you also get those hideous X5s being driven around in Chelsea but middle-class mummies carting their brats about.
I reckon its fair to say BMWs are actually quite class-neutral, in that it appeals to wankers of whatever social divide.

Although... "cockney wanker in a 316" - surely a 316 has far too small an engine to adequately compensate for a nouveau riche 3-series driver's minuscule penis? (Hooray, a length joke!)

New 3-serieses...... 'cos it says that you don't have the taste and technical skills to drive an old E30 3-Series (think F-reg BMW) or even an E36 (not a classic yet, matey!). It just says you're showing off your cash - but you haven't got *that* much cash because if you did you'd have bought a 7-series.

OLD BMWMy Lovely 1991 BMW 320 went to the scrap heap in the sky (south Leeds) in spring. It was a sad day.
Although now i've got a new 1 series coupe, which is nice but just isn't the same.
