My friend
is just out of hospital after having an operation on his brain to remove a brain tumor from his head which was successful. However, he has been left with large gaps in his memory. If i were to fill those gaps with tales of scandal and debauchery that he could not confirm may or may not have happened, would you kind people vouch for me to god that i'm not as evil as i sound on the old deeds list?
also, tale ideas as comments welcome :)

Tell him...
...that he invented the question mark.

Better yet
Every time he brings up a memory gap, look uncomfortable and eventually admit that before the operation he made you swear never to tell him what happened during those periods.

Tell him
he owes you £20

Make 'em good...
... and make 'em funny. Make those memories so they will last and put a smile on his face when he's a doddery old nonagenarian.

If he hasn't got a lot of his own memories left, he deserves a few good ones. Whether they're true or not isn't, in the wider scheme of things, important.

balance
every time you tell them an embarrassing story throw in an awesome one. Like the time they climbed up a construction crane and pissed off the top.

tell him he has a child
and needs to give £300 a month or the CSA will get him for £600, and give him your bank details

A friend many years ago
had a similar type operation and ended up with memory gaps. They slowly went away and she eventually remembered everything.......
