When film was film.I can thread-up and play 35mm film, something my employer considers obsolete in this age of everything digital.
On the plus side, I get to do more of my work sat down, which suits my advancing years.
Length? A two hour show used to be about 2 miles of 35mm film.

I'm not old enough to have done changeovers.We used to have platters, which could comfortably hold about 5 hours of film. Like this (left hand side):

But I saw a documentary which suggested otherwise.It was called "Fight Club" and they stated that a film had to be changed manually and "cigarette burns" told them when.
Don't tell me it was a lie?!?!?!?!?!?!?
