Also, we hear endless amounts about watever in vogue totalitarian regime, TV bosses choose, while others are left to oppress their people in peace.

AND why oh why, are hezbollah slated constantly for killing Israelis? Yet little is mentioned about the Israeli government killing far more Palestinians, that it has done for the last 50 years.

I read the bbc website every day
to get news from back home as well as "real" world news (in the US, world news consitutes what's happening in another State) and am sick to fucking death of reading about Maddy. I can't imagine the horror and pain of a child going missing and I do understand it must be awful for them, but I don't need to hear EVERY FUCKING DAY how the investigation is going, or what color knickers Kate decided to wear that day.

BBC news is almost as bad as US news.

The reason you don't hear about the Palestinians getting blown up all the time is they have no voice. The mainstream media is owned by entities that would much rather tell the story of how the poor Israeli's had a home made rocket land on their garden and damaged the shed.
