Foreigners!!
Now don't get me wrong, i'm not racist, but it really boils my piss the way that people tip-toe around foreigners. For example, an Asian is currently employed at my wifes work, but has shown up for about 15 days in total this year, always someone in his family ill/dying/dead/etc, and they haven't fired him, in case its viewed as racial prejudice?!

Also, me and my wife have both sold our cars to get new ones recently. Both times, it's been mostly immigrants calling to view, when they come to look, they bring half their extended family with them, talk amongst them selves in their own language as if you wasn't there, then offer a price about 50% of your asking price... then wonder why you walk away?!

It's probably the comany that's at fault there,
not the foreigner.

What's the Asian gentleman to do? Do you expect him to walk into the office and say "I think I've had too many days off, if I don't start coming in more often, you're really going to have to take a look at my future with the company"?

As for the speaking-in-a-foreign-tongue to one another.. buying a car sounds like a family decision.. so let them make the family decision. And they're not going to do it in English, the same way you probably don't talk in Mandarin when you're asking people what they want from the Chinese.

Well to be fair
He did say it was the way people sometimes tip-toe around foriegners that annoyed him.

But on the second point, that doesn't mean all immigrants are like that does it? Same as all British people aren't drunken lager louts who go round beating up grannies.

Folks who know I am generally on the side of the minority may be surprised that I agree with you,
except for the bit about them talking in their own language amongst themselves, of course they do, wouldn't you?

You won't get equal fair treatment for all anymore by treating a minority with kids gloves and letting them get away with murder than you will with the opposite extreme, they should be treated the same as everyone else in the same situation, unless something about them means some concession is essential such as being deaf.

My pet hate is when someone is a cunt, then pull their particular minority card out when they're losing ground and claim that's the real reason behind all this. No it's not, nobody cares if you are a blind black lesbian jew, you're being a lazy cunt, so just stop being a lazy cunt, ok?
