Once public opinion is against a current or prospective piece of legislation or government position/event etc etc, and the media has it's grubby, fat little fingers in the mix, stirring it up and using every opportunity to stick the knife in,consessions end up being made, surely shirley? They had to back out of the NHS changes and reassess it
