Madman or genius?
That's what they'll be asking in years to come in a series of specailly commissioned Channel 4 documentaries narrated by Andrew Sachs.

Threadjack
I've been resisting the urge all day, but I just fired up my photoshop-ish package. One of the IT guys walked into my office to fix something and caught a glimpse of the splash screen as it came up, then he smirked, made his excuses and left. Unfortunately, my photoshop-ish package of choice is The Gimp.
I don't think he knows The Gimp is a photoshop-ish package.
Cue seedy workplace rumours :-(

Sadly our IT department come from the
"I never liked computers nor understood them, but how hard can it be?" school of thought, so alas are not up on pervy linux stuff (Windows 98 all the way, if we're lucky).

stop worrying then
put the kettle on - you're obviously going to have to chuck a sicky today.

Nah, work for a supermarket
so i'm at least going to turn up, then go at 3.
Pulling a sicky is a pain in the arse. Much easier to get paid for the last bit, especially if I 'forget' to clock in, meaning I might have been there the whole time... ^_^
Besides, it's overtime, and I did warn them that ince i've been working nights for the past week, it was rather unlikely that i'd be up and conscious for an 8am start...
