Much as I would like to blame Brexit
It's actually down to the shitty behaviour of UK supermarkets who aren't willing to pay the proper price for things after there was a bad harvest in Morocco and Africa and prices went up. There is plenty of fruit in Europe because the shops there pay properly for stuff, but UK shops won't pay enough to sustain our farmers with higher energy costs, so have to get everything abroad. Of course the bloke from Sainsburys says it's Brexit, but that is because he is a fanatic. Sometimes it is just our supermarkets being cnuts.

True
Since supermarkets have to buy 95% of everything abroad, and it is more difficult than it was for EU vendors to sell fruit and veg to the UK, we get shortages. Why this government has wasted the last 6 years not getting a good trade deal is beyond me. Companies want to make money, but politics keeps kicking in. Still, roll on Monday when Sunak shafts the ERG and all hell breaks loose. Then Boris will be back...
