lots of fish? They're the same in Norway, even McDonalds and Burger King didn't have veggie alternatives..

the hotel I was staying in just couldn't get their heads around what I wanted, and took me into the kitchen to point at what I wanted them to cook for me.

At lunchtimes I lived on dry rolls and crisps cos I couldn't get anything else to eat.

I don't eat fish either - they couldn't understand why I didn't find a huge bowl of fresh prawns appetising.. And the only alternative was potato salad!
