if my strop (and my mum's) fail tomorrow, i shall be using the jubilee line daily from a week sunday. if it succeeds, i won't be using it at all.

Everyone probably already knew this, but I found out last night that the suicide pits in tube stations were put in during the 1930s depression. Seemed people were literally depressed. I also found out tube drivers earn £31k! Not half bad.
