The American company based in Beaverton, Oregon employs 23,000 people. Nike's official website does not show if this labour force figure includes the young Asian slaves, younger than 12 and who are manufacturing - for a bowl of rice a day - the expensive sportswear in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and India...
I have always boycotted personally Nike.

I found out a month or so ago that I can no longer buy Converse, just sweatshop produced Nikes with a Converse label on them. Boooo!
