you need to do
'save optimised as' to save the optimised version. with this pic you probably want to reduce the number of colours - that'll make the file a lot smaller

did you use imageready to make that? the background is changing every frame, which IR normally sorts out

there's a lot you can do in imageready, have a play when you've got a bit more time. the dither settings are quite good
