Eeep! Couldn't be bothered!
Went get my dog put down, as he could hardly walk and couldn't see a thing
He died peacefully in my arms
I was a wee bit confused as to why the vet wiped the patch of skin before he injected him... was he worried it would get infected? Also, when the vet let go of my dog paw it looked like he moved of his own accord, I almost shouted 'he's still alive, I'm taking him back!'

I had to take
my girlfriend's old cat to the vet last fall to be put down. She couldn't bring herself to do it, and I couldn't blame her... I held Bony one last time, then they gave him the shot. He looked angry, as he often did, but then relaxed a bit. I can at least take solace in the fact that the last thing he felt was me stroking his fur, and the last thing he saw was me looking into his eyes.
