Seriously though, that sounds like a really ignorant concept. "Shadowy"? Reminds me of the Mirror editorial suggesting that men with "funny beards" should be locked up because they're all paedos.

A shadowy males is a man who regulaly visits the household without actually being a member of it. Someone who comes and goes at will, and is even trusted with looking after the kids by the parents, even though they don't really know the person very well.
Such men 'groom' the family in much the same way that net paedos groom kids in chatrooms.
