I think Doherty said that about Moss in NY
and got a bit of a kicking for it.
along the lines of "everyone knows you do it..."

Doherty is such a complete mong-brain
He's more pickled than Ozzy. Well I guess if Kate Moss can want to shag a wreck like him then there's hope for a mere geek like me :)

I wasn't calling Kate a wreck ...
I've never seen Doherty straight and lucid ... ever. He's a mess and a screw up. He's had a chance of genuine fame and instead chose notoriety by virtue of single handedly taking all the heroin in the western hemisphere.

My apologies squire
Just read the message properly.
HE DIDN'T CHOOSE NOTORIETY. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ON HEROIN. WELL, UNTIL HE HAD THE OP 6 MONTHS AGO, NOW HE CAN NOT FEEL THE BLOODY EFFECTS OF IT.
HE DID A LOT WORSE THINGS BEFORE THE LIBERTINES AND EVEN BEFORE THE PRESS FOLLOWED HIM EVERYWHERE, JUST BECAUSE HIS GIRLFRIEND IS KATE MOSS.
HOW I LAUGHED WHEN THAT MIRROR REPORTER WAS PUNCHED.
WHERE WAS THE PRESS THEN?
annoyed.

EDITL: AHA. Naltrexone!
"For patients who have not been successful with oral naltrexone, a new technique has been developed using naltrexone implants that provide an adequate and constant level of naltrexone in the patient's body for long periods of time: six weeks, six months or twelve months depending on the type of implant. Using a local anaesthetic, a small one-inch incision is made in the lower abdomen or at the back of the upper arm, and a number of pellets are inserted just below the skin. These then release effective doses of naltrexone over a period of time. While the implant is in, if patients inject themselves with heroin, no effect is achieved. After the implant wears off, insertion of a single implant can be followed by a double implant or sequential double implants which provide the longest period of coverage. The implants do not need to be removed at the end of the treatment period and are gradually absorbed by the body. The periods of coverage provided by the implant allows the patient time to experience the process of addiction recovery."

I'm not sure how it works
But he had a bandage on his lower-torso for a while afterwards.
I can find out the grisly details if you'd like, although i don't think even he is sure.

MOSS LOSES FASHION DEAL
Kate Moss has been axed from an ad campaign by a leading clothes store after allegations she had snorted cocaine.
The 31-year-old was due to be the face of the publicity drive by H&M.
The fashion chain said in a statement that Moss was "inconsistent with H&M's clear disassociation of drugs".
She was due to have been the face of a new campaign starting this November for a range designed by Stella McCartney.
The British model has refused to comment on photographs said to show her taking cocaine.
But a statement from H&M said: "H&M will cancel the planned advertising campaign with model Kate Moss.
"H&M is strongly against drugs and for many years has actively supported the drug preventing organisation Mentor Foundation.
"After having evaluated the situation, H&M has decided that a campaign with Kate Moss is inconsistent with H&M's clear disassociation of drugs."
The drug-taking antics of Moss' boyfriend, singer Pete Doherty, have created a stir in recent months and the model was said to have been angry at his use.
