I was cracking walnuts today as well and, although not wearing a green dress, I did snatch up the crumbs with my tongue.

I had a lot of pet mice at one time. The breeding got out of control and they started eating their young. ewww.
I also tamed a wild mouse once for a pet. I had no idea it was possible.
