I should think not.I'd hope a sever facial beating that resulted in the loss of a few teeth would still not be enough to make you think about stopping drinking. Surely that's why straws were invented?

my uncle broke his jaw as a studentdidn't stop drinking, just used a straw and carried wire cutters around with him in case he started chucking.
was a bit worried about his behaviour when it took the docs 2 hours to unwire his jaw when it was healed
