# It's freely available over on /links
sadly, the real travesty is that it got 'leaked' in the first place, not the actual content of it.
It's basically become the 'Ladybird book of facist spotting' with people automatically assuming
that those members agree with 100% of the BNP's policies and in the automatic
process, must be inherent bigoted racists etc.

# But GTA, they're registered members
Their addresses and family details aside, they can't have signed up without at some point acknowledging that the BNP were "committed to stemming and reversing the tide of non-white immigration and to restoring, by legal changes, negotiation and consent the overwhelmingly white makeup of the British population that existed in Britain prior to 1948."

Although there is a Psychiatric Nurse on it called Mr Heironymous Allan Bosch.

# Is it a travesty?
I can understand why the BNP might not want this list released. After all, these people are entitled to certain protections under privacy law. But then again, the BNP is basically a white nationalist party, in itself little more than a front for bigotry, xenophobia and racial hatred. If someone was stupid enough to give the BNP their name, occupation, address and hobbies I think its safe to say that they agree with their policies. I really don't have much sympathy that these people have been exposed.

# and we assume that all of the people on that list agree with all of their policies?
as of course, all labour supporters agree with 100% of what labour does, right? - etc etc.
The fact many are missing is that the BNP will now generate sympathy from this episode from many
people who will see these exposed people as 'victimised' by people harassing and threatening them,
who are - for the most part - supposed to be liberal and 'more enlightened' individuals who really should know better than exploiting this
and turning it into something sinister with the 'mob mentality' namecalling and threats.
Most members of any political party have the right to privacy and the ability to exercise their affiliation in the voting booth, they don't all
go out on the street shouting and denouncing everyone publicly.
I'm quite sure a majoirty of those BNP members on the list are the same, and choose to exercise their vote in the booth, not on the streets.
Do these individuals, probably people who haven't raised any form of storm in their local neighbourhood, really deserve harassment and
threatening calls because people have snooped a list and automatically assumed the worst about them?
I don't affiliate myself anywhere near the BNP or their 'aims', but find the principles being waived and exploitation of this list quite unsettling

# big difference
Labour and Conservative are not single issue parties. And neither espouse extremeist views. So its quite possible that somebody might be a labour member while still holding diverse views about matters.

The one and only issue that the BNP are about is getting rid of the darkies. There is no use pretending otherwise.

Anyone who has signed up for BNP membership knows this too. I'm sure you might find *some* disagreement about how the nignogs should be gotten rid of. The moderates might merely beat them up and them back on the boat. The more extremes would probably advocate herding them into sheds and gassing them.

So in that sense perhaps you're right. Otherwise, pull the other one.
