was there not a b3tan who did quality testing stuff
for Rockstar North... I'm sure that there was...
Mrs. UnderCover's brother works for a games company, they just released Vin Diesel's Wheelman.
Least said about that the better I think.

... I think you'd probably be
competing against people who have degrees for the position -- but you should be allowed to do whatever it is you want so I'm sure that would come across in the interview...

How is being good in an interview bad?
I'd love to have charisma to go with my education and experience.

Getting snapped at for interviewing for a job and getting it (and then turning it down)
when I decided during the interview that I didn't want the job. That was fun.

I think i'd take that rather than not being good at interviews

They shouted at you because you didn't want the job?
Bloody hell, lucky escape I think on that one if they are like that!

'wasting my fucking time'
I believe was one choice phrase. No wonder I didn't want to work for her.
Plus I only found out the salary at interview, and it was the same as I was on at the time.

At the moment I would gladly move for the same salary.
But every time I go for an interview they make silly salary offers you would expect to turn down as an intern, why would they expect an experienced person work for it?

That's why I'm on such a shitty salary here
I was absolutely desperate for work, took the job on low salary because I hadn't graduated at that point with promises for big pay rises when I graduate etc.
I've been here a couple of years now (already having 3 years industry experience), still haven't even reached the top end of the starting salary and the other programmer earns over double what I do.

welcome to my world.
The next person up from me is on over double what I am, and I do a lot of his stuff anyway.

People being annoyed because you're good and they can't have you isn't that bad either.
This reminds me, I need to tell Derby hospital I don't need their interview any more.

Had a better offer.
Plus, their HR department wrongly said I was unqualified and then took about 2 months to get back to me.
