I did French up to GCSE level and got a C
so just normal french knowledge really, but I was listening to the Bonnie & Clyde song by serge Gainsbourg a month or so ago and that's in French too and that one i have heard hundreds of times because it's in an episode of Blue Jam. Anyway this time I suddenyl found myself singing along with it, but I was singing in English and translating as I went along. So my subconscious has clearly worked out the translation but it never thought to tell me it had.

I once fell asleep...
...during a Spanish language film.
I woke up when the film was still playing, but the cast were all speaking English.
For a second, I thought I had undergone some kind of brain transformation and could suddenly understand Spanish.
In actual fact, they were really speaking English.
