i do thatmy problem is that i can't see an obstacle on the pavement without wanting to jump over it. it's automatic, an instinctive response. so i says 'it's icy today, mind you don't slip,' then absent-mindedly hop over a pile of shovelled-up snow and WHACK! land on my arse
