If you're new to the area (Aldgate)There is a mental curry house called the Kebab house. Doesn't sound much and decor not amazing but the food is insane for the price. Order the lamb chops....Oh and good story , although I think Aldgate is the last place that someone should be racist, he was lucky to get away with just his motor being nicked.
