IndeedI tried so many times to like natto but it never worked. I like every other fermented food I've encountered (sweaty cheese, kimchi, alcoholic things) but not natto. Dried squid I grew to accept, but I think I'd stay away from the chocolate covered variety, too.
You've just reminded me of some food I had living in Osaka so maybe I should post one. Now I wish I had seen a Village Vanguard. Where are/were you?
