someone else knows this phrase in it's common (frustrating) usage.
I've lived in European countries close to Germany & Austria for many years and keep coming across this phrase. Does it mean health spa? Does it mean massages?

On holiday in Croatia last year
our hotel had a wellness centre. What the f...? It was a spa - massages, sauna, steam room - that kind of carry on. Jesus.
