I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

I agree apart The WireIt really is the best TV series I've ever seen. They actualy put effort into it. It was written for the characters not the plot. Most episodes don't end on a "cliffhanger" there's no need.
It was properly researched. The guy who wrote it spent a year with the Balitmore Homicide department and wrote a book. He got asked to write the series so he went and spent time with the corner drug dealers to get their side of it. Alot of the plot lines are based on actual events (Series 1 abnd 3 main stories did happen). Alot of the cast are actual cops or gangsta's. He also got tons of them helping behind the scenes getting everything right.
