My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

maybe I'm in the minority, butI don't equate "common" with "chav". I'll happily slag off chavs because I think that's an attitude thing, not a class thing. Calling someone "common" just smacks of snobbery. I dunno, maybe it's just me
