ComplainingI like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

Perhaps he used the wrong term?It is used as first aid for heart attacks due to its antithrombitic properties -- surely this would cause some concern when the patient was bleeding profusely?
Not saying the OP wasn't overreacting, but from what I can gather it seems a strange thing for a dentist to recommend to someone in that situation.
