HmmmI don't think he needs to be a catholic priest, surely the whole idea of religion in general is quite dubious

TrueBut C of E priests tend not to be very religious. The one we had at our wedding (a family friend) said some very unreligious things when I asked how much of the superstitious nonsense he could cut out of ceremony (I'm an atheist, the wife is Anglican). In the end I think he only mentioned god once, but I did somehow get compared to a frog. Still not sure how that happened, but it made sense at the time.
