I feel your pain
I know that some celebrities give generously of their own money, and I'm sure many more do so in secret, but this idea that getting such-and-such to turn up somewhere and solicit donations is a joke, when said celeb will be paid obscene amounts in "expenses" and no doubt be accommodated as luxuriously as possible.
It's like this record for Haiti. Simon Cowell could personally contribute more than the record will ever make, let alone if the singers on the track chipped in too. Is there a reason Cowell pays Max Clifford £750k a year for reputation management?
