vroomAkira was just meh for me. I felt it was a load of hype and much more preferred to watch Castle Cagliostro or Laputa. No, it wasn't the violence that turned me away, heck I'm a Hokuto No Ken fan, I just felt no attachment to any part of Akira. Glad someone else liked it though.
