well if you say so it must be true.
i can't believe i thought there were people that were extremely poor, not being able to feed, clothe and keep their families warm in winter, when it turns out that they just don't have swanky electronics gadgets.
i'll assume when i read about pensioners dying as a result of not being able to afford heating, that they squandered their massive pensions on downloadable content for xbox live.

The poverty line in The UK really isn't the same thing as the poverty line in devloping countries.
A child living below the poverty line in say Indonesia doesn't get enough food to keep them healthy.
A child living below the poverty line in the UK can't go on school trips. It's really not the same, is it?
