I don't find /talk to be that cliquey, if I'm honest.Rather, it's just full of people I don't know, and I don't really have the time to get to know them, anymore.
Hence I've gravitated here, I suppose.
I don't think much of /offtopic, but then I'd probably feel the same about /talk, had I not been there when it started.
