And yet....Trying to be part of a group, and wear a uniform to signal same, seems to be basic human nature. Why are you surprised/offended when this happens in the places you frequent? You seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder. I'll make a little prediction: 20 years from now when you read your post you will cringe.
