I know my daughter's science lessons contain things that I did when I was two years youngerbut then I didn't have to fill up the school day with lessons like 'responsible citizenship' and how to make powerpoint presentations so I expect it all gets diluted somewhere. I know I wouldn't fancy the calculus in 1960s GCE maths which I didn't have to look at until A-level physics.
