I am not so quietly proud of the factthat despite being in my 50s and with children myself who are older than half the b3tans I speak to on a regular basis, I still get told by them to "turn the bloody music down, we're trying to watch TV up here" on a regular basis
(and for the record we're talking mostly post-rock, psych, experimental noise and stoner rock, and not stuff I'm allegedly supposed to be listening to as a parent going on grandparent....)

Revenge of the dad-rockIt's the revenge of the dad-rock - I've been playing lots of incredibly dodgy early '80s industrial, the stuff that slid by on reputation at the time. Now it's for playing when doing housework as incentive for the teenagers to do some and then they can play their My Chemical Gaga or whatever it is.
