The last time I did thiswas when I visited Big Girl's Blouse in England. The stairs in her house are narrow and steeper than the standards of America, and the ceiling is low at the end of the stairs so I was always afraid of twatting myself. And no handrail either- so since I have a bad sense of balance, I invariably went up the stairs with at least one hand touching the carpet every other stair.
I always did it when I was a kid, though. Heh.
