Peasy!Before stepping onto the stairs, look over one of you shoulders. (make sure you choose the correct shoulder, otherwise your head might twist off) Whatever you see in front of you, keep looking in its direction while you go down the stairs ie unwind your neck so by the time you get to the bottom you should be looking over your other shoulder.

I guarantee you will get 19% fewer wierd looks
