I'm going to Hell...
...because I said the Lord's Prayer backwards at a funeral to summon up the Goat of Mendes, Freddie Woo tells us. Tell us why you're doomed.
Thanks to Kaol for the suggestion

I laughed, how I laughed
while playing "Scene It", one of the questions showed Christopher Reeve stood at a woman's door and asking her to "walk with me".
I just couldn't help myself and creased up, tears streaming from my eyes. No-one else saw the joke, unfortunately.
Also, I got partway through writing "Στην καραμέλα αγαπών μου. Όλοι οι χαρακτήρες που απεικονίζονται μέσα σε αυτό το βιβλίο είναι fictitous και οποιαδήποτε ομοιότητα στα πρόσωπα που ζουν ή είναι απολύτως καθαρώς συμπτωματικοί." in the front of a hotel's bible before I got bored and went to the bar.

hehehe.
My Greek isn't up to much, but I get enough of that to know what you mean.
*salutes classics skillz*
*clicks - I really want to see Greek in the newsletter*
EDIT: but why is "fictitious" in English?

my guess is
that uberdeity was using babelfish, as it has no translation for fictitious.
it gives the translation as...
"In my candy of loves. The all characters that are portrayed in this book are fictitous and any resemblance in the persons that live or are absolutely clearly coincidental"

fictitious was misspelled
google says:
In my candy lover. All the characters depicted in this book is fictitous and any resemblance to persons living or is absolutely purely symptomatic.
so what's up with this candy loving?

*Oh the shame*
I think that it's a reference to a Red Dwarf episode which a newsreel proclaims that the first page of the Bible was found and it had "To my darling Candy >insert the rest<"
Shuffles away in geeky shame.

Bugger
Yup, using Babel Fish (Google doesn't have a free online translator from English to Aramaic...) and misspelt "ficticious". I'll leave the error in there so the comments make sense.
And yes, it's a Red Dwarf quote. Season Two, "Better Than Life". "To my darling Candy. All characters portrayed within this book are fictitous and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental"
