This is a question Impulse buys

I'm now the owner of a monster trampoline that's nearly too big for the garden. Tell us your retail disasters and triumphs.

Never
feel bad about buying cheap DVDs – I am perpetually obsessed with finding a DVD bargain, I’ll always check the shelves for something nice and cheap, or just browse the DVD section on eBay for stuff ending in a few minutes to snap it up.

Fact is, I’ve realised that listing the ones I’m not actually fussed about on PlayTrade and Amazon is an excellent way to make money. I’ve sold about 50 so far, and have started buying DVDs purely for the profit when I sell. Disney is particularly good for this!

I used to not be able to go past HMV without buying something..
The time just before this ended, I decided I would go in and not buy anything unless they had series 2 of Coupling on special offer.

Guess what? All four series, for a tenner each! Oh well, fantastic comedy :).

Likewise, in Tesco the other week, looking at the computer games. Fallout 3 for 12 quid.. Still in the wrapper, but I know I'm going to play it at some point, for definite. Not finished Oblivion yet.

As of yet, don't buy and sell things - just hoard. Most recent purchase was falling victim to 3 quid's worth of 'Oh Brother, Where Art Thou' from ASDA. It'll be interesting to see a modern take on the Odyssey.
