i can see why

Well worth getting
Cheaper than a dog or cat; friendlier than most cats and less smelly/daft as most dogs can be.
Turtles are the best pets. They are soooooo friendly too.

One of my friends has one in his uni flat. Apparently if the porters ever find out he's going to turn it upside down and pretend it's an ashtray.
