just to help this argument
If ice caps melted, there would be no great flood.
Think about it.
The water has already been displaced. the water levels would then just remain the same. Try dropping an ice cube into a glass of water. Does the water level change when the ice cube melts??

Nope
The antarctic ice cap isn't floating. It sits on top of rock. If it melts into the sea the sea level will rise. Same for many glaciers around the world.
