...hmmm i'm not an expert, but this snake would have had to been effing huge to eat a full human- and while its maybe possible for it to kill a human you'll see why it wouldnt have been able to consume him....
For a snake to try and consider eating a human, it would have to be one of the bigger of the family (python's etc...)
Its not unheard of for a snake to stalk/track a human through scrub land (jungle)
To debunk a myth, if your averaged size male was to be swollowed head first, the snake would not be able to dislocate its jaw wide enough to get past the shoulders.
If you do find yourself face to face with a snake trying to eat you, make sure you have a bottle of alkeyhol handy and rub the drink in his eye's/mouth.
I cant have a snake in the house, my God I want to own one though. They are beautiful...can you imagine taking one for a walk!?
