Mrs LivebinSo true about the clocks. At school, I was always really good at french, but i frequently got crap marks when we had to do the telling the time part of the Tricolour books (remember those? Je m'appelle Jean Claude, et j'habite a La Rochelle...)
The reason I got crap marks wasnt because I didnt know the french but because I couldnt tell the sodding time... I was about 13. I eventually had to 'fess up to my teacher who thought it was fucking hilarious and made me have remedial telling the time lessons at lunch break.
