AwwI wouldn't feel too guilty, the vet only did what your mum was trying to do, just with needles. The poor thing was suffering anyway. And the first part did make me laugh :)

Hard thoughThanks for the sympathy, I know I did the right thing, it was just heartbreaking to actually do it. Glad the first bit made you laugh though, the idea of my mum offing her cat with MASSIVE DRUGS made me laugh too. I didn't actually intend to go in to the sad bit, just wanted to relate the funny, but it didn't seem right not to finish the tale.
