How nerdy are you?This week Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, died. A whole generation of pasty dice-obsessed nerds owes him big time. Me included.
So, in his honour, how nerdy were you? Are you still sunlight-averse? What are the sad little things you do that nobody else understands?
As an example, a B3ta regular who shall remain nameless told us, "I spent an entire school summer holiday getting my BBC Model B computer to produce filthy stories from an extensive database of names, nouns, adjectives, stock phrases and deviant sexual practices. It revolutionised the porn magazine dirty letter writing industry for ever.

Nerdy1. Moved house two weeks ago and had to clear out some stuff. To the charity shop goes 100 Star Wars Novels, Terminator novels complete set, Aliens novels complete set, Area 51 Novels (never published in the uk), Indiana Jones novels (again never published in the uk, Anne McCaffrey Pern novels. No great problem as have most of them on the computer in Ebook form.
2.To log in to B3TA at work have to load imdb first to get spelling of my user name!
3. Found whilst moving all of my Star Wars CCG cards. Now looking for a copy of the latest rules.
4. My brother and I have tickets for the one man show of all 6 star Wars films for later in the year. We also for the last 3 years have given each other Transformer reissues for Christmas and birthdays.
The wife despairs of me, however at one point a few years back there were over 100 care bears sharing or two bed flat!
