I vote for the latter
I know some people like that, and watching them try to hold on to their version of hip and relevant, trying to stay nineteen now that we're in our thirties, is almost painful sometimes. I like a nice party and night out as much as the next person, but it isn't my life. Move on, adapt, evolve -- hanging on to 'those days' with all your might just doesn't look so good from the outside.
