Ouch!
A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.
What was your ouchiest moment?

Could be worse.
I grind my teeth in my sleep, and a couple months ago, I managed to grind so hard, I've cracked off the front half of one of my molars. No NHS for us in the States to fall back on, so despite the rather considerable pain of having half a tooth with the root exposed for months, I can't go to the dentist as my insurance won't cover anything except maybe $400 tops on a procedure that I'll be billed between $2000-$4000 for. Price depends mostly on how big of an asshole the dentist is feeling like being that day, it seems. It's probably going to be a couple years before I can afford to get this fixed because of this.
